Offering a snapshot of how we live today, Future Fossils reveals aspects of our lives left behind for later generations to decode. This exhibition, encompassing works from toshowcases Hafif's consistent pursuit of "lingustic awareness" and "objective results". The title is borrowed from an article by Marisa Volpi Orlandini, published in on Data, which explores Marcia Hafif's unique approach to painting. Hafif's practice is characterized by a rigorous methodology that combines artistic experimentation with scientific inquiry, especially in relation to color. They explore subtlety, atmosphere, the ephemeral, the shadow, the misty, the clouded, and aim to examine our contemporary existence through shades of meaning. The featured contemporary artists ask us to rethink how we experience our realities in their most subtle and expansive ways.
